PAYROLL ACCOUNTANT

Job Summary: The Payroll Accountant will (1) oversee and supervise the payroll functions of the organization, ensuring time sheets and payroll are processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations and company policy, (2) provide accounting support to the Controller as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Executes biweekly time sheet processing, using CostPoint accounting system.

  • Executes biweekly payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate recording and payment of payroll and federal and state payroll taxes

  • Maintains employee leave balances • Prepares and distributes annual W-2s to employees and Federal and State governments.

  • Prepares, reviews and records journal entries related to payroll activity

  • Assists the Accounts Payable Accountant and Controller with journal entries, reporting, and other duties as assigned.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient with payroll software.

  • Must be comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.

 

Education and Experience:

  • At least three years of related experience required.

  • CostPoint timesheet or payroll experience a plus.

Accounts Payable/ Staff Accountant

Job Summary: The Junior Accountant will be responsible for (1) ensuring that Accounts Payable transactions are timely paid and costs are applied to the books and records in compliance with Federal regulations and company policy, (2) recording General Ledger journal entries timely and accurately and (3) providing accounting support to the Controller as assigned. Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Receives and verifies vendor invoices and expense reports for compliance with Federal regulations and company policy. Reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records.

  • Ensures timely payment of company obligations. This includes obtaining invoices from recurring vendors, applying costs according to Federal regulation and company policy, entering invoices in Deltek CostPoint software, scheduling payments and processing EFT and manual check transactions.

  • Prepares monthly journal entries and accounting reports as assigned.

  • Calculates and reports sales tax based on paid invoices.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

  • Prepares and distributes annual 1099 forms, including verification of vendor Federal id numbers Required

 

Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.

  • Must be comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.

  • Must be able to communicate easily and professionally with employees and vendors • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

TRAINING SYSTEMS PROGRAM ANALYST, SENIOR

 

BASED IN JACKSONVILLE, FL

 

RBC, Inc. has a position for a Senior Program Analyst (PA) to provide program management, acquisition and technical support for the PMA-290 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Integrated Product Team (IPT). The PA will support PMA-290 FMS Case Manager and Deputy Case Managers as the Assistant Training Manager for International Programs. The candidate will have the ability to brief senior leadership on a wide range of technical aspects related to Foreign Military Sales/International programs training, to write highly technical planning documents utilized to support programmatic requirements, to track and monitor complex training programs, to coordinate technical/program requirements across multiple stakeholders (USN, Contractors, and Foreign customers) with limited supervision. A qualified candidate must have previous government contracting experience, USN Maritime Patrol Aircraft FRS Instructor / 9502 Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC) experience, FMS student training experience, a strong background in USN Flight and Maintenance training curriculum development, superb written and oral communications skills, be proficient in MS Word, Project and Power Point, and hold Maintenance 8300 NEC or Safe for Flight or Master Training Specialist (MTS) qualifications,

 

This position requires a MA/MS degree and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in program management, business analysis, and U.S. Navy (USN) aircraft acquisition processes. A BA/BS degree and four (4) years of relevant additional experience may be substituted for the MA/MS degree. Experience in FMS and USN aircraft acquisition programs is required. International travel is required.
