RBC Financial Analyst

RBC has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst on-site at Patuxent River, MD to support a large ACAT ID program at NAVAIR. The individual will provide financial analysis and support to Lead BFMs in planning and executing budgets. Assist in the preparation of funding documents, and monitor/maintain obligation, commitments, and expenditures in Navy ERP. Prepare and reconcile spreadsheets/ledgers using Navy ERP. Assist in updating and analyzing spend plans for obligations using Navy ERP. Prepare and update Work Assignment Agreements. Create and update Budget and Project Structures via Navy ERP. Candidate must be detailed oriented, a self-starter, and have excellent organizational skills. Experience with execution of funds and Navy ERP is required.

This position also requires a BS or BA degree in a business, management, or relevant technical discipline and a minimum of 4 years of financial management experience, 2 of which must be within DoN. A current security clearance is required.

RBC has an opening for a Deputy Project Lead at Patuxent River Naval Air Station. The position is a leadership role that will employ systems engineering principals and acquisition and resource management tools to provide programmatic and technical direction of projects anticipated or in development and includes: Performing oversight to identify, investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test and evaluate practical solutions to complex engineering problems for various military systems and associated support systems;  Oversight of systems integration, configuration management, and quality assurance testing; and Reviewing and preparing system engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.

 

This position requires: Four years of experience in the development, planning, testing, and evaluation of systems, subsystems, and related equipment programs or projects anticipated or in development. Demonstrated experience in systems engineering, specification development, systems engineering process, systems engineering technical review (SETR), requirements management, SETR event preparation, and risk management  is desired.

 

Education:  MS or MA degree in accounting, business, management, engineering, physics, computer science, or mathematics.  ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: A BS or BA degree in accounting, business, management, engineering, physics, computer science, or mathematics or PMI certification and an additional three (3) years of experience can be substituted for an MS or MA degree.  An additional five (5) years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

 

A Secret clearance is required.

Program Analyst

RBC, Inc. has a position available at Patuxent River, MD for a Program Analyst to support a large ACAT I program at NAVAIR.  This position requires knowledge of NAVAIR program acquisition, financial/program tracking, and NAVAIR contracting and PPBE processes.  The candidate will support execution of aviation program management processes, the development, submission, and management/tracking of contract packages including PIDs, CDRLs, SOOs/SOWs, IMS reporting, financial analysis, and cost estimates/budgets and coordinate actions with multiple IPTs, monitor schedules and provide status/reporting as needed. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently. This position requires a BS or BA in a business, management, or relevant technical discipline and a minimum of eight years of experience in U. S. Navy aviation program management, business/technical analysis, and acquisition.  Eight years of relevant experience may be substituted for the college degree.  The individual must be highly proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office family of software to include Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
